About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to join our growing legal team in Clark, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience, though candidates with 1.5+ years of relevant personal injury experience who demonstrate strong knowledge and the ability to work independently will also be considered. This is a full-time, in-office position that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum: 1.5+ years of relevant Personal Injury Paralegal experience will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of personal injury litigation procedures and legal documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal.
  • Experience handling plaintiff personal injury matters.
  • Familiarity with court filing procedures and litigation timelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files.
  • Obtain, review, and summarize medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
  • Monitor case deadlines and court calendars to ensure timely filings and compliance.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, mediation, depositions, and settlement conferences.
  • Coordinate filings with courts and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
  • Provide exceptional client service by keeping clients informed throughout the legal process.
