Requirements

  • 3+ years of paralegal or legal support experience, preferably in personal injury
  • Advanced knowledge of the legal process and strong understanding of the legal industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related legal software
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate conflict with professionalism and tact
  • Superior organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a creative, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mentality
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously while remaining calm under pressure
  • Highly organized with the ability to develop processes and manage compliance

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial client consultations and gather information to support personal injury claims
  • Collect and organize evidence including medical records, police reports, and witness statements
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and all parties involved in a case
  • Track deadlines and ensure all necessary paperwork is filed accurately and on time
  • Assist in the preparation of settlement demand packages and support negotiations with insurance companies
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date case files and ensure all client communications are thoroughly documented
  • Provide comprehensive support to attorneys including scheduling, calendar management, and case coordination
  • Prepare trial notebooks and assist with all aspects of trial preparation
  • Mentor and train Legal Assistants on administrative tasks and firm procedures
