About The Position

Provide administrative support to the in-house legal team for Tokio Marine North America, Inc. Works in a shared services environment to deliver high quality legal services to Tokio Marine’s US subsidiaries.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ relevant working experience
• Superior knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Excel
• Experience with legal matter management tools (e.g., Relativity, iManage)
• Understanding of basic service of process requirements and protocols
• Superior writing and communications skills
• Strong analytic ability
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• General understanding of property and casualty insurance is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for logging, maintaining and tracking lawsuits, subpoenas, and other legal documents served on the Company.
• Review of lawsuits for bad faith / ECD claims
• Provide assistance with management of the Company’s corporate insurance policies; support the application process and monitor and track claim activity
• Responsible for logging, maintaining and tracking of consumer complaints and coordinating the response process with the applicable business unit
• Monitor and track internal company license filing requirements
• Assist with the preparation of board materials, corporate resolutions, and unanimous consent documents
• Manage outside counsel billing and vendor invoicing
• Provide administrative support to the legal team
