About The Position

The Paraeducator 1 works in a kindergarten classroom at Errol Hassell Elementary, assisting the teacher in delivering the instructional program. The position supports classroom preparation and materials, works with individual students and small groups, and supervises student activities to help maintain a safe and orderly school environment.

This is a probationary position scheduled for 2.5 hours per day, five days per week, on a 182-workday calendar. The daily schedule is 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The stated hourly rate is $23.41141–$29.57831.

• Assist the teacher in delivering an instructional program.
