About The Position

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, designs and manufactures customized power distribution and protection systems, including relay and control panels, medium-voltage switchgear, and enclosures. The Panel Wire Prep role is based in Fontana, California, and prepares wiring subassemblies for relay and control panel projects. The position reports to the Production Manager. Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment as Axiom, with a spin planned for Q1 2027; if the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and prints to manufacture wiring subassemblies for relay and control panels.
• Crimp, strip, cut, pull, and bundle wiring according to plans.
• Ensure wiring is properly labeled and marked.
• Connect cut wires to components and route wires and cables in an orderly fashion.
• Ensure quality workmanship of all wires and components.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
