Wire Cutting Warehouse Sr Associate - 2nd Shift
About The Position
DSG is seeking a full-time, hourly Wire Cutting Warehouse Senior Associate at its Fargo, North Dakota location. The role focuses on wire cutting and encompasses warehouse operations such as order pulling, shipping and receiving, putting product away, preparing product for shipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. Senior Associates bring substantial warehouse experience and may be responsible for skilled warehouse operations. The usual schedule is 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Friday, although hours may vary occasionally according to business needs.
Requirements
- Five or more years of applicable wire cutting experience, typically providing advanced product and warehouse knowledge.
- Safety training in material handling and forklift operation.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist in wire cutting.
- Notify the Branch Manager about inventory shortages or overages.
- Use a computer and/or RF gun to check product status, availability, and location.
- Accurately pull material from its location to fill orders.
- Pack and label filled orders and place them in the proper location for delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pickers, and turrets; training and certification are provided.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and dusting shelves, and sorting and disposing of trash in appropriate bins.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other required technologies.
- Work with fellow warehouse associates to support efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Load delivery trucks as needed.
- Handle calls for the warehouse when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
