About The Position

DSG is seeking a Wire Cutting Warehouse Senior Associate in Fargo, North Dakota. This full-time, hourly position focuses on wire cutting and includes responsibility for warehouse operations such as order pulling, shipping and receiving, putting product away, preparing product for shipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work environment. Work is typically performed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, though hours may vary occasionally according to business needs. Warehouse Senior Associates have demonstrated years of experience performing warehouse tasks and/or are responsible for specific skilled operations. The role works with fellow warehouse associates to support efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment, and may handle warehouse calls and load delivery trucks as needed. Forklift and other warehouse equipment training and certification are provided.

Requirements

Advanced product and warehouse knowledge, normally acquired through five or more years of applicable wire cutting experience.
Safety training in material handling and forklift driving.
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Assist with wire cutting.
Notify the Branch Manager about inventory shortages or overages.
Use a computer and/or RF gun to check product status, availability, and location.
Accurately pull material from its location to fill orders.
Pack and label filled orders and place them in the proper location for delivery.
Regularly operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pickers, and turrets; training and certification are provided.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and dusting shelves, and sorting and disposing of trash in appropriate bins.
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other required technologies.
Work with fellow warehouse associates to support efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Load delivery trucks as needed.
Handle warehouse calls when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
