Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Familiarity with common electrical devices
- Basic computer skills (opening and saving files, etc.)
- Experience using hand tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes
- Strong teamwork skills
- Good attendance and reliability
- Ability to adapt to customer or engineering changes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
Nice To Haves
- Completion of Lantech LEAP class
- Demonstrated ability to properly identify and use tools for the job
- Previous experience building electrical panels or working in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Build wrapping unit control panels from start to finish
- Perform enclosure and panel machining
- Mount electrical components and complete panel wiring
- Use a variety of hand and power tools (strippers, screw guns, crimpers, etc.)
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Support the Team Leader in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical quality issues as needed
- Follow work instructions to ensure panels meet Lantech quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete panels efficiently and on time
