About The Position

A Panel Build Technician is responsible for all phases of a panel build, including reading electrical schematics, wiring panels, creating panel tags, and completing final panel assembly. On occasion, the technician may assist customers in the field with troubleshooting existing panels and provide field installation support for Bastian Controls projects. No travel is required for this role.

Requirements

Experience in the electrical industry as an electrician or panel builder.
Relevant electrical wiring, panel build, and troubleshooting experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Neat workmanship, particularly in industrial wiring best practices.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Maintain a consistently positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Read electrical schematics and wire panels.
Create tags for panels and perform final panel assembly.
Occasionally troubleshoot existing panels in the field for customers and provide field installation support for Bastian Controls projects.
Provide feedback on prints and redline them as appropriate.
Execute schedules and keep work on track with milestones.
Submit annual review inputs and personal goals.
Anticipate problems and act proactively.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Complete administrative tasks and paperwork in a timely manner.
Follow information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report suspected security incidents.
