About The Position

An opportunity is available for a 3rd Shift Panel Bender Operator at the company’s Jonesboro, Arkansas facility. The role sets up and operates panel-bending equipment to support production, ensuring equipment performance and product quality. The operator follows safety and company procedures, maintains records and an orderly work area, and reports unusual conditions or non-conforming materials.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience operating a brake press or similar equipment; 1 to 3 years of experience is stated.
Demonstrated mechanical ability.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
Ability to accurately use a caliper and tape measure to 1/32 inch.
Ability to work overtime, including more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays, as required.
Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 to 10 hours, if necessary.
Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate a panel bender to support production.
Set up and change over machines, load and edit programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance.
Install and align tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges as required.
Troubleshoot equipment and identify problems with tooling and machine adjustments.
Inspect products and adjust machines as needed to meet product specifications and quality standards.
Check products visually using fixed gauges and prints, including first-piece inspections.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment when required.
Move materials within the work area.
Follow company policies and procedures to produce quality products and services, including reporting non-conforming materials.
Report unusual conditions or questionable items to a lead or supervisor.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Keep the work area clean and orderly.
Maintain accurate records as required.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
