About The Position

Experienced Palliative Care NP/PA - 100% Inpatient in Pinehurst, NC. Join a close-knit team that is making a difference! FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, not-for-profit, community-based health care network serving the mid-Carolinas. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to carry out our mission, “To care for people.”

Requirements

NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
PA must be a graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
Minimum 2 years of advanced practice experience.
Must be able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision-making.
Exceptional communication skills; must be able to effectively navigate sensitive patient/family discussions.
Clean background, NC license, and NC DEA.
AHA ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Treat patients across multiple units at Moore Regional Hospital.
Collaborate with Hospitalists, specialists, nurses, discharge planners and others in a multi-disciplinary approach to care.
Function autonomously across all units.
