About The Position

Community Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Palliative Medicine Physician to join their compassionate and highly experienced palliative care team. The team currently consists of four physicians, twelve APRNs, five LCSWs, five RNs, four MAs, and several administrators, serving over 5 hospitals and sites of care. The network is team-oriented, quality-focused, and expanding to find a flexible, dynamic full-time physician. This role will provide patient care and consultative services primarily in the inpatient setting, with future primary locations at Community Hospitals Westfield (opening 2027) and Howard (Kokomo). The Palliative Care program focuses on education, decision-making, and symptom management, providing multi-disciplinary care to patients facing complex symptoms, pain, psychological, and spiritual issues. The goal is to improve the management of illness so patients can focus on what is important in their lives. The program is well-integrated with an internal hospice team to provide a coordinated continuum of care.

Requirements

• BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and consultative services in the inpatient setting.
• Support oncology patients within affiliated Cancer Centers.
• Focus on education, decision making, and symptom management for patients facing complex symptoms, pain, psychological, and spiritual issues.
