Requirements

  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or other relevant tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Lift and carry 78lbs at least 63% of work shift.
  • Push items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet.

  • 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Repair all components of a pallet using a pneumatic nail gun, including removing defective boards and replacing them with new ones.
  • Place pallets on a repair table, remove defective boards, replace them with new boards, and nail the replaced boards into place.
  • In an assembly department, take stock boards and nail them together based on the desired pallet type.
  • Troubleshoot jams and perform basic maintenance on the saw.
  • Follow repair guidelines to execute the full repair of all components of a pallet.
  • Strive to meet daily production targets.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or irregularities in pallet construction.
  • Ensure adherence to repair guidelines and quality standards throughout the process.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
