About The Position

The Pallet Builder fabricates component parts or assembles finished products according to customer specifications. The role secures and maintains the correct component parts and supplies needed for operations, follows prescribed assembly and quality instructions, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No minimum experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of manufacturing and assembly experience.
• Working knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Complete work area setup.
• Fit parts together according to prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operate hand tools as required to complete assembly.
• Stack completed products according to established procedures and, when required, cover, label, and band finished products or components.
• Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and organized and that equipment is safe to operate.
• Complete pre-shift equipment startup inspection checklists and report problems or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintain production records as required.
• Check materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
• Perform duties according to established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other programs and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
