About The Position

The Pallet Puller transports pallets between the packaging line, production floor, warehouse, and distribution center. The role delivers empty pallets and packaging materials to production, wraps loaded pallets according to company guidelines, and helps keep electric jacks in working order. The employee maintains a clean work area and follows safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. Regular attendance and punctuality are required.

The position is based in a refrigerated food manufacturing plant. Conditions may be wet or dry, with temperatures ranging from 25°F to 110°F. Repetitive lifting of packages weighing more than 25 pounds is required. Production demands may require overtime and evening or weekend scheduling.

Requirements

• Pallet jack or forklift experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallets from the packaging line to the distribution center.
• Deliver empty pallets to the production line.
• Deliver packaging materials to the production line.
• Wrap loaded pallets according to company guidelines.
• Ensure electric jacks are in working order and report problems to the maintenance department.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
