About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician for its Delanco, New Jersey location. The technician will perform advanced glue-pulling, hail repair, crease and body-line repair, and repairs to larger dents on steel and aluminum vehicle panels. Work takes place in a high-tech vehicle inspection and reconditioning center using state-of-the-art tools.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as needed. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Pay is $20.00–$38.00 per hour based on experience and skill level, plus a $1 shift differential. Sign-on bonuses are $4,000 for mid-level (Level 2) technicians and $6,000 for high-level (Level 3) technicians.

Carvana describes itself as a used automotive retailer that inspects, repairs, and photographs vehicles at reconditioning centers before listing them online. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional automotive PDR experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Must not require visa sponsorship for this role.
