About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a Painter to join its team. The schedule is 8 hours per week, with flexibility in the dates and times during the week. Requirements

Demonstrate excellent mechanical skills.
Be familiar with emergency procedures for chemical misuse.
Show interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques as needed.
Demonstrate proper usage of chemicals and equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance work, including light electrical work, painting, and carpentry.
Perform minor and major repairs.
Implement regular and preventive maintenance programs.
Communicate the condition of buildings and equipment to the Maintenance Director.
Handle biohazardous waste according to proper practices.
Keep the laundry room clean and orderly, and store chemicals according to product or supervisor instructions.
Follow standards and practices for specific chemicals and demonstrate proper use of chemicals and equipment.
Work effectively within the work-order system.
