About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Painter (Liquid) in North Salt Lake, Utah. The position involves industrial liquid painting of different metals and supporting production operations in a shop or yard. The schedule is a day shift from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, in 10-hour shifts. The posting offers weekly pay of $17.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience, plus a 10% shift differential.

Requirements

Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Able to work in the United States.
Able to pass a background check.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools, including painting tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
Good communication skills and a teamwork attitude.
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of shop safety practices.

Nice To Haves

Industrial liquid painting experience; painter experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Use painting tools and paint different metals.
Assist machine operators, welders, and technicians with daily production tasks.
Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and equipment within the shop or yard.
Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and machinery for daily operations.
Perform basic assembly, grinding, sanding, or finishing work as directed.
Organize and restock materials, tools, and supplies to maintain an efficient workflow.
Read and understand blueprints.
Assist with measuring, cutting, or fitting parts under supervision.
Dispose of scrap materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
