About The Position

Crystal Finishing Systems is hiring a liquid/powder painter for its first-shift team in River Falls, Wisconsin. The position applies liquid or powder paint to product surfaces and supports production by preparing coatings, changing colors, maintaining paint-booth equipment, inspecting finished work, and rotating among booth stations. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays.

Requirements

• Knowledge of painting processes.
• Ability to team-lift, load, and carry items weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Apply liquid or powder paint to product surfaces.
• Obtain the production schedule from the lead and gather coatings for each run.
• Perform color changes based on the production schedule.
• Mix paints and solvents appropriately.
• Perform light and preventive maintenance on paint booths and equipment.
• Inspect products for quality issues.
• Rotate to different stations within the paint booth.
• Locate, read, understand, and follow work instructions.
• Establish an efficient workflow based on the product and task.
• Use painting materials and other supplies efficiently and notify the appropriate person when supplies are low.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
