About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Painter (Liquid) in North Salt Lake, Utah. The role involves using painting tools and painting different metals, along with supporting shop production and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Industrial painting experience is required for consideration; industrial liquid paint experience is preferred. The schedule is a day shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 10-hour shifts and weekends off. Pay is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience, with a 10% shift differential. Weekly pay is offered, with direct deposit and debit card payment options.

Requirements

Industrial painting experience; resumes with industrial painting experience will be considered.
Industrial liquid paint experience is preferred.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Able to work in the US.
Able to pass a background check.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work.
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools, including painting tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills.
Good communication skills and a teamwork attitude.
Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of shop safety practices.

Responsibilities

Use painting tools and paint different metals.
Assist machine operators, welders, and technicians with daily production tasks.
Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and equipment within the shop or yard.
Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and machinery for daily operations.
Perform basic assembly, grinding, sanding, or finishing work as directed.
Organize and restock materials, tools, and supplies to maintain efficient workflow.
Read and understand blueprints.
Assist with measuring, cutting, or fitting parts under supervision.
Dispose of scrap materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
