About The Position

Performs industrial coating work in operational industrial settings, including surface preparation, mixing coatings, and applying them using brush and roll, airless spray, or conventional spray methods. Uses appropriate respiratory protection and operates, cleans, and maintains painting equipment. May train and direct other classified staff in the area, and assists or provides backup to other Facilities employees. Must follow safety procedures and maintain punctual, dependable attendance in accordance with project work rules.

Requirements

• Proficiency in power-tool cleaning, hand sanding, and solvent cleaning.
• Skill in handling, measuring, and mixing industrial coatings.
• Experience with brush-and-roll, airless-spray, and conventional-spray application methods.
• Ability to operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment.
• Ability to use appropriate respiratory protection.
• Punctuality and dependable attendance in accordance with project work rules.
• Adherence to safety procedures.
