About The Position

Performs industrial coating work in operational industrial settings, including surface preparation, coating mixing, and application. Uses appropriate respiratory protection and follows safety procedures. Operates, cleans, and maintains painting equipment, may train and direct other classified staff, and assists as backup for other Facilities employees. Must be punctual and maintain dependable attendance in accordance with project work rules.

Requirements

• Proficiency in power tool cleaning, hand sanding, and solvent cleaning.
• Skill in handling, measuring, and mixing industrial coatings and using appropriate respiratory protection.
• Experience with brush-and-roll, airless spray, and conventional spray application methods.
• Ability to operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment.
• Punctuality and dependable attendance in accordance with project work rules.
• Adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces using power tool cleaning, hand sanding, and solvent cleaning.
