About The Position

Paint Support is expected to safely perform all aspects of support for paint operations. The Painter II performs all Paint Support I responsibilities, along with line setting, understanding packaged parts, communicating with material handlers and maintenance, and completing supervised maintenance activities. Additional duties may be assigned.

The position is scheduled for 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Overtime may be required on Fridays from 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The listed pay rate is $19.10 per hour.

Requirements

• Previous experience with powder paint systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with company and site safety rules.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Follow and complete established procedures, processes, and policies under supervision.
• Efficiently load (hang) and unload raw parts from the paint line.
• Understand the impacts of quality.
• Perform line setting.
• Understand packaged parts.
• Communicate with material handlers and maintenance.
• Complete maintenance activities under supervision.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
