Requirements

Previous painting experience required
Interior and/or exterior painting experience preferred
Lead painter, crew leader, or foreman experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail
Reliable transportation preferred
Able to use painting tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, sanding equipment, sprayers, and ladders
Able to perform basic math and follow job instructions
Able to work safely on ladders, scaffolding, and active job sites
Able to perform physical work during an 8-hour shift
Able to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare job sites by covering floors, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Prepare walls and surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
Fill cracks, holes, and imperfections with appropriate materials.
Mix paint and materials to achieve the correct color, texture, and finish.
Paint interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other tools.
Apply stains, varnishes, and other finishes as needed.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
Protect customers’ homes, businesses, and property.
Follow all health and safety precautions.
Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
Help maintain Fresh Coat Painters’ reputation for quality, reliability, and professionalism.
Assist with training or leading other team members as you grow.
