Painter & Finishes Tech - 3rd Shift
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Painter & Finishes Tech for the 3rd shift at the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center. This role is responsible for repairing walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, both inside and out, and performing various preventive maintenance tasks. The position is full-time and offers an overnight differential. The Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center is a high-end, private facility for Deloitte professionals, featuring 1,400 hotel rooms, multiple dining options, extensive meeting space, and recreational facilities. It is managed by Benchmark Hospitality.
Requirements
- Interior painting experience required.
- Able to work independently on paint jobs.
- Must be able to properly patch and paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, etc.
- Ability to use tools associated with the trade, such as brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.
Nice To Haves
- The ability to repair vinyl, faux, tile surfaces preferred.
- Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.
- Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
- Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders, and completes all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
- Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems. (training provided).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
- Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
- Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided.
- Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
