About The Position

Under general supervision, the Production Painter applies industrial paint finishes to metal products using a spray gun. The role includes operating the paint process, preparing and setting up machines, safely positioning materials, checking paint quality, and supporting inventory, maintenance, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activities. The position pays $23.82 per hour plus a $2 shift differential. The schedule is Sunday night through Friday morning, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., with some required overtime. Responsibilities

Load, feed, and unload material through the paint process.
Operate a spray painter gun to apply industrial paint finishes to material.
Set up machines and confirm specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools.
Use lifting devices such as cranes and forklifts to position materials or parts safely.
Perform quality checks to ensure paint is applied at the correct thickness and touch up as needed.
Ensure materials are properly labeled and scanned when they exit the paint line.
Participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
Track material inventory and perform machine maintenance.
Support housekeeping and organizational standards, including 5-S practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
