About The Position

Join a thriving, hospital-affiliated Pain Management practice in beautiful Palm Springs, California, supported by Tenet Health and Desert Care Network. This is an exceptional opportunity to step into an established practice located directly on the campus of Desert Regional Medical Center, one of the region's premier referral centers, while enjoying a highly desirable Southern California lifestyle. This employed opportunity with Tenet Physician Resources (TPR) and First Choice Physician Partners offers a mix of clinic and procedural responsibilities with an approximate 50% clinic / 50% procedure split. The practice is located on the Desert Regional Medical Center campus and has an Ambulatory Surgery Center conveniently located on the DRMC campus for efficient procedural access. The patient volume averages approximately 30-40 patient encounters per week, varying based on procedural schedule. The physician will be responsible for management and call coverage of their own patient panel. There is a strong referral network throughout Desert Care Network and surrounding Coachella Valley communities. Clinical support is provided by dedicated Medical Assistants, Front Office Staff, and Back Office Staff. Hospital privileges are available at Desert Regional Medical Center and John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital. There is an opportunity to participate in academic activities with Family Medicine residents shadowing the practice. The growing regional need for comprehensive pain management services presents an excellent opportunity to develop and expand a robust procedural practice. Requirements

MD or DO degree required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology, or appropriate primary specialty
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pain Management fellowship required
Eligible for California medical licensure
Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Excellent communication and collaborative team skills
