About The Position

The Paid Search Intern will play an integral role within the Marketing Services team by assisting with the development and maintenance of highly targeted Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns. This position involves supporting the execution of campaigns across platforms like Google Ads to help organizations grow and acquire customers. The intern will gain practical experience monitoring and analyzing campaign effectiveness, tracking conversions, and preparing client deliverables while collaborating with team members on complex accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, fast learner to hone their digital advertising skills in a fast-paced agency environment.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, and Docs).
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics/GA4.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive mindset and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic knowledge of Google Ads or Microsoft Ads.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Understanding of landing page best practices and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with or interest in learning Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Google & Microsoft Ads campaigns for a variety of client accounts.
  • Help monitor the effectiveness of campaigns as they relate to specific client goals, conversions, and events.
  • Support the preparation of client deliverables, including project kickoff documents and rolling performance reports.
  • Provide direct support to senior team members with account work and technical tasks.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor strategies to advise on best practices for digital advertising.
  • Work both independently and in a team-oriented environment to ensure tasks are completed at a high level.
