About The Position

West Coast Self-Storage Group is hiring a full-time Paid Media Specialist to help drive paid acquisition across a portfolio of 160+ locations throughout the western United States. This is not a "set it and forget it" role. You'll be hands-on in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and more daily — but more importantly, you'll be expected to think critically about performance, challenge assumptions, and help scale what works. You'll work alongside an experienced paid media team member and play a key role in improving cost per rental, increasing lead volume, and maximizing return on ad spend across a large, multi-location footprint. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads and/or Microsoft Ads campaigns
  • Strong understanding of paid search fundamentals, including keyword strategy, bidding, and conversion tracking
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on performance, not assumptions
  • Experience working with Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Comfortable managing budgets and working toward defined performance targets
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Clear communicator who can translate data into actionable insights
  • Self-motivated and able to operate effectively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multi-location or franchise-style marketing
  • Google Ads and/or Analytics certifications
  • Familiarity with call tracking, lead attribution, or CRM integration

Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads with a focus on lead generation and cost efficiency
  • Analyze performance data and identify opportunities to improve cost per lead, conversion rates, and ROAS
  • Support budget allocation decisions and monitor spend across multiple markets and locations
  • Conduct keyword research, adjust bidding strategies, and perform ongoing account optimization
  • Assist in testing new channels and tactics, including display, retargeting, YouTube, paid social, and CTV campaigns
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to outperform in key markets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve landing page performance and conversion rates
  • Report on performance trends and provide clear, actionable insights
