About The Position

BHSN, one of the fastest-growing organizations providing whole-person care in the region, is in search of passionate individuals to join our rapidly expanding team! The PACT Facilitator facilitates weekly group meetings that provide education designed to stop violent behavior and teach non-abusive, non-controlling behavior. Work Schedule: 5:15pm to 8:15pm 3 days a week. Specific weekdays are to be determined

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human service field is required
• Ability to project a professional self-image; i.e. non-judgmental, caring, compassionate and fair
• Strong communication, engagement and teaching skills required
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people required
• Reliable transportation required for local travel

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in domestic violence services preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide psycho-educational group services to PACT clients based on approved program curriculum and periodic evaluation of client participation and progress
• Keep the group focused on the issues of violence, abuse, control and change
• Facilitate reflective/critical thinking
• Maintain an atmosphere that is supportive, challenging and non-collusive
• Provide new information and teach non-controlling relationship skills
• Facilitate a healthy group process
