About The Position
The PACS Coordinator is a member of the Imaging Services Team and supports the hospital’s Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) by performing related activities. The role also participates in quality improvement and quality control (QI/QC) activities. This position is in the Radiology department at Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of clerical or receptionist experience.
- Previous PACS work experience.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience with Hospital Information Services (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and Vascular Radiology Information Systems (VRIS).
- Knowledge of radiology test terminology.
- Supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform activities related to supporting the hospital PACS/RIS system.
- Participate in QI/QC activities.
