About The Position

This role is for a hands-on individual who enjoys operating and maintaining machinery. The Packing Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring accurate weights, seal integrity, and proper seasoning of products. The job involves preparing machines for production, making adjustments for different product runs, and performing quality checks. The operator will also be responsible for boxing, labeling, and sanitizing equipment, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and food quality standards. The work environment is fast-paced, occasionally wet and oily, and emphasizes teamwork and the production of snacks.

Requirements

Experience in manufacturing or machine operation, or ability to learn quickly and eagerness to grow.
Comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Ability to solve small problems quickly and keep production moving.
Willingness to work on a team.
Must pass a post-offer background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Operate packing machines ensuring accurate weights, seal integrity, and correct seasoning.
Perform pre-production machine preparation and on-the-fly fine-tuning for different product runs.
Switch out rolls of film and adjust formers.
Set and monitor seasoning flow.
Manually check, inspect, and hand-pack bags.
Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases to customer specifications.
Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean work area.
Follow all GMPs, safety protocols, and food quality standards.
