About The Position

Smyth-Green Bay is seeking a Packing Associate to help produce high-quality labels and packaging. The position is part of a collaborative finishing team, supporting the creation of products that reflect the company’s standards for pride and care and help customers’ brands stand out. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with training on first shift. Compensation is based on skills and experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand and bend throughout the shift.
Visual acuity and dexterity of hands.
Solid reading, math, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, orally and in writing, with people at all organizational levels, both inside and outside the organization.
Effective time-management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long- and short-term projects.
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to work effectively with a diverse group of people and personalities.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service and respond promptly and thoroughly to internal customer inquiries.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities

Inspect products for printing defects, using close attention to detail.
Box and pack completed finishing orders in preparation for shipping.
Follow company work rules and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work closely with teams and departments to support workflow and continuous improvements in finishing operations.
