About The Position

The Packer is a seasonal role supporting the busy holiday season in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment. Packers primarily pack customer orders at an assigned stationary pack station, working independently for most of the day. They pull totes from a conveyor and prepare customer orders for shipment, following packing requirements, handling products carefully, and meeting established productivity and quality standards. Openings are available on 1st and 2nd shifts. Listed total pay is $17.00 per hour for 1st shift and $19.00 per hour for 2nd shift, including seasonal incentives and, for 2nd shift, a shift differential. Overtime, extended hours, and additional workdays may be required during peak-season business needs.

Requirements

• Some high school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic reading and counting skills.
• Ability to learn and use RF scanners daily.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow packing instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependability and reliable attendance.
• Ability to continuously lift, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling packages weighing up to 30 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand throughout an 8–10-hour shift.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb as required.
• Ability to use ladders and repeatedly climb stairs during the workday.
• Ability to use hand pallet jacks with payloads of 2,500+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pack individual customer orders at a stationary pack station.
• Pull totes from the conveyor and prepare orders for shipment.
• Follow packing requirements and handle products with care.
• Use and restock shipping materials at pack stations.
• Safely handle and use dry ice as needed.
• Meet or exceed department units-per-hour productivity standards.
• Follow safety, security, and SQF requirements.
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance.
• Work overtime, extended hours, and additional days as required during peak periods.
• Work to established standards in departments outside of Configurable Gifts when needed.
• Perform additional duties and support other departments as assigned.

Benefits

• Seasonal incentive of $1.50 per hour.
