Packer - 2nd Shift

About The Position

The Packer packs individual customer orders at a stationary pack station, primarily working independently and pulling totes from a conveyor. The role requires understanding how to pack each order and handling products with care. Packers use and restock shipping materials, may use dry ice safely as needed, and are expected to meet or exceed department units-per-hour standards. They must follow safety, security, and SQF requirements, maintain reliable attendance, and be willing and able to work to standard in departments outside of Configurable Gifts. Overtime may be needed, including additional hours in a day or additional days in a week. Other duties and work in other departments may be assigned.

Requirements

Basic reading and counting skills.
Ability to learn and use RF scanners on a daily basis.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling packages weighing up to 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to walk and stand for an entire 8–10-hour shift and stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb.
Ability to use ladders and climb stairs repeatedly each day.
Ability to use hand pallet jacks with payloads of 2,500 pounds or more.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Some high school education or equivalent is preferred.
