About The Position

Novolex is hiring a Packer in Jerome, Idaho. The Packer inspects and packs products according to customer specifications, supports quality control and production changeovers, replenishes materials, completes daily paperwork, and maintains a clean and orderly work area while following company procedures and safety practices. The role works rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, changing every 28 days on a 2-2-3 schedule. The listed compensation is $16.50 per hour, with an additional $2.00 shift differential for nights.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
• Commitment to staying safe and continuing to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack products according to customer specifications while using safe work practices.
• Notify the Operator when a product does not meet quality specifications and assist with resolving the issue.
• Read, understand, and correctly complete daily paperwork.
• Set up the work area with materials specified in the work order and replenish materials as needed.
• Assist the Operator with setup and changeover activities as directed.
• Keep the work area and equipment clean and orderly.
• Perform assigned duties in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in safety programs.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
