About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER MFGSC division is hiring a Packer at its Dallas, Texas facility. The role packs orders at Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center Pack Out Stations using the Flagship system. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; overtime may exceed those hours and may be mandatory at times. The hourly rate is $18.00. New hires in hourly positions are subject to a 90-day introductory period covering safety, conduct, attendance, quality, and productivity, followed by an evaluation for continued employment. Candidates must be within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, Texas, except active-duty military service member candidates, and relocation benefits are not offered. Requirements

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• At least 6 months of experience with a forklift, cherry picker, or reach truck.

Responsibilities

• Use packing slips to generate and print move tickers; break down materials, sort styles, verify counts, and restock warehouse locations using RF scanners.
• Verify the styles and quantities of picked materials, visually inspect products, scan them, and place them in shipping cartons.
• Add packing material to protect products and include packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as needed.
• Resolve discrepancies and research possible solutions to ensure orders are accurate.
• Maintain quality workmanship, observe safety procedures, report unsafe acts, and perform work of equal or lower classification when necessary.
