About The Position

SCN BestCo is a leading innovator, developer, and manufacturer of vitamin, mineral, and supplement products, over-the-counter products, and prebiotics/probiotics in forms such as gummies, lozenges, and chews. The Packer Palletizer works in bagging on C shift (3rd shift), packaging products to specifications, inspecting quality, and preparing finished pallets for identification and shipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including completing cGMP SOP training and using email.
• Ability to repetitively lift 35–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Strong time management, teamwork, problem-solving, and organization skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal staff and management.
• Available to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• One year of machine operator experience.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• FDA experience.
• Certified Production Technician through NCMI.
• Technical and/or system knowledge at a basic, intermediate, advanced, or mastery level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper packaging material is available to match the production schedule.
• Inspect product for quality defects.
• Package product according to specifications.
• Stack fully packaged product on pallets, wrap full pallets according to specifications, and identify them with the proper ticket.
• Communicate packaging and quality problems to leadership.
• Count, weigh, and report scrap.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ensure the work area is clean and orderly.
