About The Position
On-Board Services is hiring a full-time contract Packaging Operator at its facility in Assonet, Massachusetts. The role involves packaging finished products in quantities ranging from small containers to totes, operating dryers and blending equipment, and moving materials. Operators also complete batch and packaging records and follow safety procedures while helping identify and implement environmental, health, and safety improvements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pass a drug screen, including THC testing.
- Mechanical and computer aptitude.
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds.
- At least one year of forklift experience.
Responsibilities
- Package finished products in quantities ranging from small containers to totes.
- Operate dryers and blending equipment.
- Move materials using pallet jacks and a fork truck.
- Complete batch packets and packaging packets for finished goods.
- Follow safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Help identify improvement opportunities in environmental, health, and safety practices and implement improvements.
