Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Huntsville, AL, is looking for a Packaging Trainee with a proven track record to join our team. We are the leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings and the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to work 12 hour shifts (including weekends and holidays).
Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

Computer and mechanical ability preferred.
Excellent safety and attendance record.

Responsibilities

Identify and separate poor quality parts.
Pack molded parts in boxes.
Lift and carry full boxes of parts from molding machine to pallet (approx. 2 ft.).
Label boxes.
Assemble molded parts.
Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards.
Barcode Parts correctly.
Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform all job duties.
Work effectively and efficiently with coworkers.
Productively receive information from Material Handlers regarding work related information.
Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
