Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, located in Huntsville, AL, is looking for a Packaging Trainee with a proven track record to join our team. We are the leading manufacturer of pipe and fittings and the only manufacturer that offers a complete system of cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS and FlowGuard Gold® pipe and fittings for residential and commercial plumbing systems and industrial applications. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts (including weekends and holidays).
  • Submit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer and mechanical ability preferred.
  • Excellent safety and attendance record.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and separate poor quality parts.
  • Pack molded parts in boxes.
  • Lift and carry full boxes of parts from molding machine to pallet (approx. 2 ft.).
  • Label boxes.
  • Assemble molded parts.
  • Keep work area up to 5S housekeeping standards.
  • Barcode Parts correctly.
  • Maintain constant state of alertness and ability to safely perform all job duties.
  • Work effectively and efficiently with coworkers.
  • Productively receive information from Material Handlers regarding work related information.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
