The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan.

  • Six months or more of work experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Picks finished goods throughout the warehouse as required by sales order ship lists.
  • Processes goods and supplies including unpacking, verifying, labeling, and distributing to appropriate location.
  • Fills requisitions for goods and materials.
  • Maintains and verifies accounting records for supplies received and dispensed.
  • Coordinates appropriate shipping companies/departments when shipping items and educates user departments regarding shipping requirements.
  • Assists in preparing shipping foods and relevant equipment.
  • Uses/operates miscellaneous material handling equipment (dollies, pallet jack, forklift) to move materials.
  • Performs physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Maintains the record of wait delivery requests and notifies the appropriate department supervisor of material and/or goods that are not on schedule.
  • Maintain the logbooks up to date for optimum material flow.
  • Makes inquiries of inventory to ensure adequate supplies are on hand.
  • Reports shortages to supervisor.
  • Performs other related material handling activities including maintaining proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials and keeping physical inventories.
  • Exercises care in handling materials.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.
