About The Position

Atkore is seeking a Packaging Operator based in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the operator properly stacks finished pipe and checks it for quality. The role also involves packaging finished pipe in the required crate quantities, weighing and transporting finished product, processing regrind, assisting with quality control, and completing other assigned duties. The position requires attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization. The operator must adapt to changes and competing demands, and work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. Within the first three months, the operator is expected to complete required training, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and become familiar with Atkore’s Business System and the role’s importance to daily operations. The stated good-faith pay estimate is $20.00 per hour. Placement may depend on factors including competencies, education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business needs. Other compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
