About The Position

Atkore is seeking a Packaging Operator based in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this role properly stacks finished pipe, checks product quality, packages finished pipe in proper crate quantities, weighs and transports finished product, and processes regrind. The position is for the night shift, 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM, with a stated pay rate of $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. Within the first three months, the operator is expected to complete required training, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and become familiar with Atkore’s Business System and the role’s importance to daily operations.

Requirements

• Preferred education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, handle multiple competing demands, and deal with frequent changes.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
