About The Position

KOST USA is hiring a Packaging Operator for a second-shift schedule of 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The role involves packaging and handling drums, totes, and pails in a fast-paced plant and warehouse environment. The operator follows established procedures and safety guidelines, fills and labels containers, inspects transfer equipment and containers, and uses a forklift to move and store packaged products. The role also includes maintaining an organized, safe, and clean plant and warehouse. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Forklift experience.
• Self-motivated, professional, and organized, with an enjoyment of detailed work and a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous packaging experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established procedures and abide by safety guidelines.
• Load drums onto skids.
• Place appropriate labels on drums, totes, and pails.
• Fill totes, drums, and pails by connecting the correct hoses to the correct pump or tank.
• Open the appropriate tank valves and turn on the correct pump to fill containers.
• Visually inspect transfer hoses and containers for leaks.
• Blow the line clear after each transfer.
• Shrink-wrap containers and store them in the appropriate location within the plant using a forklift.
• Keep the plant and warehouse organized, safe, and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
