About The Position

The FreeFlex Bag Packaging Operator I is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and loading commodities; startup activities; and normal batch operation. The role may also include general area upkeep, including reclaim and reject activities involving FreeFlex bags. Work is governed by strict procedures and regulations, requires substantial training, and is performed under close supervision from the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to perform the inspection, cleaning, commodity loading, startup, and normal operation of a batch.
Ability to operate and perform minor troubleshooting of the Inspection Machine and packaging equipment.
Ability to operate advanced Human Machine Interface applications.
Ability to document work accurately and in a timely manner.
Ability to adhere to SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Inspect, clean, and load commodities; perform startup activities and normal batch operation.
Perform and document line clearances before and after production of each batch.
Operate and perform minor troubleshooting of the Inspection Machine (IM) and packaging equipment.
Operate advanced Human Machine Interface applications.
Document work accurately and promptly in batch records and/or logbooks.
Follow SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements.
Provide shadow training to Packaging Operators II and III.
Perform peer-to-peer batch record documentation reviews throughout the shift to ensure accuracy and alignment with Good Documentation Practice standards.
Help ensure compliance with company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, according to assigned roles and responsibilities.
Perform general area upkeep, including reclaim and reject activities with FreeFlex bags, as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
