Packaging Machine Operator (PMO) WM-Team A
About The Position
This role involves operating packing machines to ensure accurate weights, seal integrity, and proper seasoning of products. The operator will be responsible for pre-production preparation, fine-tuning machines for different product runs, and making adjustments to maintain smooth production. Key tasks include switching film rolls, adjusting formers, setting and monitoring seasoning flow, manually inspecting and packing bags, assembling boxes, applying labels, and packing cases according to customer specifications. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to GMPs, safety protocols, and food quality standards are also crucial aspects of this position.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or machine operation, or ability to learn quickly and eagerness to grow.
- Comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Ability to solve small problems quickly and keep production moving.
- Team player with a collaborative attitude.
Responsibilities
- Operate packing machines, ensuring accurate weights, seal integrity, and proper seasoning.
- Perform pre-production machine setup and on-the-fly fine-tuning for different product runs.
- Switch out rolls of film, adjust formers, and make quick adjustments to maintain production flow.
- Set and monitor seasoning flow to ensure consistent flavor.
- Manually check, inspect, and hand-pack bags to maintain quality.
- Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases to customer specifications.
- Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean work area.
- Follow all GMPs, safety protocols, and food quality standards.
