About The Position

This role is for a hands-on individual who enjoys operating and maintaining machinery. The Packaging Machine Operator will be responsible for ensuring that ingredients are turned into perfectly sealed, seasoned, and shipped bags of snacks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized under pressure, good at interpreting machine behavior, and a proactive team player. This position operates on the 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, from 2:50 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Experience in manufacturing or machine operation, or the ability to learn quickly and eagerness to grow.
Comfortable with lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to solve small problems quickly and keep production moving.
Experience working in a team environment where collaboration is key.
Ability to notice details such as seasoning consistency or missing digits on date codes.
Ability to remain organized under pressure.
Ability to interpret machine behavior.
Willingness to jump in and help the team when needed.

Responsibilities

Operate packing machines to ensure accurate weights, seal integrity, and correct seasoning levels.
Perform pre-production machine setup and on-the-fly adjustments for different product runs.
Switch out film rolls, adjust formers, and make quick adjustments to maintain smooth production.
Set and monitor seasoning flow to ensure consistent flavor in every bag.
Manually check, inspect, and hand-pack bags to maintain quality standards.
Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases according to customer specifications.
Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean work area.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and food quality standards.
