About The Position

This role involves operating packing machines to ensure accurate weights, seal integrity, and proper seasoning of products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized under pressure, and enjoys fine-tuning machines. You will be responsible for pre-production preparation, on-the-fly adjustments for different product runs, and ensuring the quality and proper packaging of products for shipment. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where teamwork and attention to detail are crucial for success.

Requirements

Experience in manufacturing or machine operation, or the ability to learn quickly and eagerness to grow.
Comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to solve small problems quickly and keep production moving.
Willingness to work on a team where collaboration is key.
Ability to pass a post-offer background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Operate packing machines, ensuring accurate weights, seal integrity, and correct seasoning levels.
Perform pre-production machine setup and make adjustments during production runs.
Switch out rolls of film, adjust formers, and make quick adjustments to maintain production flow.
Set and monitor seasoning flow to ensure consistent flavor.
Manually inspect, check, and hand-pack bags to maintain quality standards.
Assemble boxes, apply labels, and pack cases according to customer specifications.
Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean and production-ready work area.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and food quality standards.
