Packaging Engineer
About The Position
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in packaging design, manufacturing processes, and automation within a production environment. Key Highlights: Design and develop packaging solutions using CAD tools such as ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo. Optimize manufacturing processes including injection molding, CNC, CAM, and fabrication. Program and troubleshoot robotics and PLC-driven packaging lines. Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop technical documentation aligned with ISO 9001 standards. Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Manufacturing or industrial engineering experience in packaging or related industries
- Strong mechanical engineering background with CAD and GD&T expertise
- Hands-on experience with robotics, CNC/CAM, welding, and automation systems
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of injection molding, tooling design, PLCs, and vision inspection systems
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
