Packaging Development Manager
About The Position
The Packaging Development Manager directs and manages technical resources at the site responsible for developing and productizing the power packaging portfolio, including design engineering and process engineering. The role oversees reliability standards related to materials and techniques used in design and production, and manages research, technical design, and mechanical system and equipment design functions. It manages product development phases from market definition through production and release. The manager also selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to support efficient operation of the function. The position is responsible for standardizing development methodologies, driving execution excellence and innovation through technology at the product level, and increasing Wolfspeed’s visibility and recognition as a technology leader in SiC power packaging and power modules. The manager is expected to be a motivational and inspirational leader.
